Creation
I don't pretend to know the place from where creativity emerges.
I do know how to listen, though, to hear when it calls.
I don't usually work in clay, but for weeks now, she has been calling to me to be born. I honestly could not create anything else until she had taken form. So last night, I finally gave in.
(What started off as a shell, a place where she had hidden and could hide again, simply became an etched rock onto which she rested while she Became from the earth.)
I don't know why we create.
But I know that we must listen to that which we do not understand, create through our unknowing, and trust in what emerges.
Namaste.
