Love

First, I have to share: Look what came in the mail yesterday!

I won this super-cute and super-practical purse as part of the One World One Heart journey from Betty Lee (a.k.a. Grandma Betty) at http://etsysupplyshoppe.blogspot.com.  (Check out her other sites at www.leescandles.com and countrylady.artfire.com)  She is one crafty lady!!

Isn't it wonderful??  The fabric is perfect and the zippered pockets (4 in total) are soooo practical.  Now that I don't have to carry around diapers, I may just make this my new everyday purse! AND it came with two little matchbook-paper pads...which I always need for my random-thoughts note taking.

THANK YOU again Betty!

Next, I am SUPER excited about tonight, when I'll be attending "Yoga + Wine" in Indianapolis with Dave Romanelli!

I have admired his style ever since reading his book, ("Yeah Dave's Guide to Livin In The Moment").  His humorous and yet poignant way at getting to the juice of our experience right here, right now speaks to my spirit and soul.  I am THRILLED to be able to experience a few hours of yoga (and then wine tasting!!) with him and others who share our passions.  (My only disappointment? That I can't attend "Yoga + Chocolate" tomorrow!!)

Finally, I want to leave you with a thought as we head into our weekend.

I've been busy, as I'm sure you have as well.  Some of us seem to be in this odd time where life is going on -- weeks come and go with work schedules, bills pile up alongside the laundry, "to-do" lists shrink and swell -- and yet something is different.

It is unsettling.  There are no words to describe it.  It is terrifying - and yet, more exhilerating and liberating then any feeling we've known.  It is fleeting, to be sure...we may feel that something and then our kiddo screams or an anxious driver tries to see how close he can get to our rear bumper...and the moment is gone.

It is a flicker of awareness into a way of living.  Right now I have few words to describe it.  I just want to pop the thought in your head if you happen to be experiencing these "somethings" as I am.

And I have noticed that these somethings seem to occur more frequently when I am in a state of LOVE - in love with myself, in love with others, in love with love.

It is not woo-woo-ey nor a romantic love, it is an all-encompassing recognition of and gratitude for what IS.

So as we hold those in New Zealand, in the Middle East, and all of those in pain and suffering around the world in our hearts, lets make sure we are making room for ourselves.  Be thankful for your blessings and for those things you consider challenges right now.  Let's all be cheesey for a bit, sink into love....and just see what happens.

Namaste.
