Anxious About Being Photographed?

It feels vulnerable to be seen.

And when someone is shoving a camera in your face, saying “do this, hold it, now smile!” - it can feel downright anxiety-producing.

BUT:

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story (online) can make all the difference. Everything you’ve ever wanted is sitting on the other side of fear
— George Addair

You. You precious being. YOU are in there.

No matter how many times you’ve been told, or told yourself, that you are unattractive, non-photogenic, not worthy of being seen - it simply isn’t true.

You just haven’t been seeing yourself in the right ways.

The process of photography isn’t just about learning to be seen by someone else.

It’s about learning to see yourself.

It’s about Learning to not only accept the fullness of that self, but to possibly even love the delightfully unique variety that makes you, you.

If these ideas intrigue you but you aren’t quite ready to jump in front of a camera, I encourage you to sign up for my newsletter. (We talk more about anxiety there, too)

In this newsletter, we explore themes and ideas around self-awareness, self-acceptance, and expression. Whether or not you ever want to be photographed, these writings will encourage you to live more vibrantly.

If you DO want to explore a photography session, let’s chat. There is ZERO PRESSURE for you to ever get in front of my camera.

But when you do, I want to ensure that you have a comfortable, deeply enjoyable time. That is our one and only goal. (And I’m willing to bet you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the photos that result.)
