Be Aware

If you aren't aware of your own body, you don't know if you are truly hungry. You will eat because of stress or availability or the time on the clock.

If you aren't aware of your own thoughts, you don't know how those thoughts are guiding you moment to moment. You'll snap at your partner without knowing why, judge the stranger passing you on the street, and feel as though everything "outside" is to blame for your emotions today...and feel hopeless to change any of it.

If you aren't aware of your environment, you'll move through it on autopilot. You'll miss the sunlight glittering off the window to your right, the motorcyclist who is switching lanes ahead of you, and the sadness behind the eyes of your coworker.

If you aren't aware, your actions will reflect that.

If you aren't aware, your world will reflect that.

The more aware you become, the more creative control you have in who you are, how you think and act, and what happens around you.

Change your life by changing your awareness.

(tomorrow, a bit more on HOW one might go about doing that.)
