More times than not, it was (is) a hassle to get my kids on a walk with me. 

Our compromise that day was a combined walk / football toss game through the neighborhood.

I must say: I have this walking thing down. The whole walking-while-tossing-a-football? Not so much. Thankfully we live in a fairly quiet neighborhood with low-traffic streets, because I couldn't hang onto that dang ball for the life of me.
